2. Open Cabinet Doors: Open cabinet doors under sinks, especially those along exterior walls, to allow warm air to circulate around the pipes and keep them protected.
3. Let Faucets Drip: Allow faucets to drip slightly, particularly those farthest from the water source. Running water is less likely to freeze, and this simple step can make a big difference.
4. Inspect Weather Stripping: Check windows and doors for drafts. Use weather stripping and door draft stoppers to prevent cold air from entering and keep your home cozy.
